Trapper K1 Albacore
Trapper Albacore is a brand new designed kayak. It has a relatively curved keel line which makes it very easy to turn and manoeuvre with the paddle. The hull is V-shaped and the kayak is more in the water than on the surface, which makes is insensible to the wind.
Out of Trappers models, Trapper Albacore is the one kayak that works best to be paddled without a rudder or skeg. The kayak responds very well to different steerages, and the cockpit is relatively tight in order to create good contact with the kayak.
Trapper Albacore is very easy to roll, and it has a smooth stability curve without any angularities that the kayak may get stuck on while rolling.
