Trapper K1 Barra-Q
Barra-Q was designed in 2003 and it soon became a huge success. Trapper Barra-Q has also been developed with the latest technology. The model has been robot worked up with tolerances less than 1/10 mm. This guarantees a totally symmetric hull. The kayak is made in reinforced fibre-glass vinylester and built in sandwich laminate for maximum rigidity.
Barra-Q is a very fast and versatile sea kayak for those of you who hunger for speed. It has a longer waterline and a straighter keel line than the average kayak. The bow has also been trimmed down ahead in order to create a faster kayak. Barra-Q manages an average speed of 5-6 knot. As all fast kayaks, Barra-Q is very stable but yet very steady for a kayak this fast. Even without cargo, Barra-Q is very stable, which makes it perfect for those who want to use it for exercise.
The kayak has 2 large oval hatches (44x26 cm) and a smaller day hatch. The rudder is Smart-Track, with a totally automatic adjustment.
